Tangled Triangles Origami Tessellation
This is one of those exceedingly difficult tessellations that I occasionally do.
It's from maybe a month ago. I struggled to get a good photo of it.
It's more about the challenge of can it be done than it is about how mice the final product might look.
I don't really remember how I did it. Looking at the back view, it looks to be collapsed hexagons.
Shockingly, I have the crease pattern, which looking at it, is pretty crazy. I'm honestly not sure how I managed to fold it to completion at all. It's pretty dastardly.
Sometimes you just get an idea and you have to see it through. A lot of times those really complex ideas are much better in theory than they are in real life.
But it still feels good to make it happen!
